The Bill Innocence Betrayed Airs Tonight At 9.00

After a raid, Paul Brewer is arrested for having indecent images of a young girl on his laptop.

At the station, D.S. Max Carter and D.C. Jo Masters interview Paul, who insists that the images would have been on the laptop when he bought it from a car boot sale. However, when Max and Jo reveal the images were downloaded after he bought it, Paul finally admits he lent the laptop to a friend, George Fielding, who he met in prison 10 years ago when he was serving time for burglary.

PC Tony stamped out of The Bill

It’s not the end of the road for ‘Stampy’, however, reveals the 57-year-old dad-of-two. Poor old Tony will be sent to training school, with the door left open to come back for odd episodes.It is very unclear what it means by training school but many think he is sent to the Met Training Centre to train officers.He will leave within the next few months or weeks

£500k car crash scene

The Bill producers have splashed out a six-figure sum on a dramatic car crash stunt, a report claims.

A future episode of the ITV1 police drama sees a vehicle exploding into flames following a chase involving its driver and Sun Hill cops.

Following the crash, Sgt Callum Stone (Sam Callis) and PC Nate Roberts (Ben Richards) battle against the clock to rescue the trapped motorist.

According to The Sun, the tense scenes cost £500,000 to film.

TDC Will Fletcher Leaves

The 27-year-old, who plays DC Will Fletcher, will bow out of the show in a few months’ time upon the expiry of his current contract, which ties him with the series until September.

He will remain on screen until late December and the door will be left open for a potential return in the future.

A spokesman  for the show tonight told us : “Gary Lucy has decided not to renew his contract when it comes up for renewal in September but that he will return in the future.”

The new time slot has been placed so we can see deeper into the charecters lifes and so we can see gritter storylines with more action.
Scottish TV network STV also announced its decision to axe The Bill from its schedules ahead of the first 9pm instalment.Fans who do not have cable or freeview will not be able to view The Bill as it will be shown on ITV3 on Monday nights at 11pm
